What doesn’t kill Kanye West makes him stronger!
The rapper is reportedly bouncing back from his recent mental breakdown and recovering in the best way possible — by creating new music!
After cancelling his tour and spending 8 days in the hospital, Yeezy has been relaxed and focused at home — apparently with his creative juices flowing like never before. Sources close to the artist tell TMZ Mr. West built a temporary studio in his Bel-Air mansion so he can make new music while privately riding the road to recovery.
The insider says Kim Kardashian West‘s hubby is comparing his breakdown to his near-fatal car crash in 2002 and his mother’s death — crises after which he created some of his best work, like Through the Wire and 808s & Heartbreak.
As previously reported, Kanye started breaking down when he stopped taking prescribed doses of his usual meds for psychological issues.
Now that he’s back at home and away from the usual chaos, the performer is reportedly back under control and in a very creative space.
We just hope Yeezus just focuses on making a full recovery, but we definitely won’t complain if an album’s worth of new material comes out of his psychological detour.

SPOILER ALERT! Don’t continue reading if you haven’t watched the fall finale of This is Us.
On the fall finale of This Is Us, which aired this week on NBC, we saw Toby (Chris Sullivan) fall during Christmas celebrations, seemingly suffering a heart attack. We then see Toby on an operating table in the hospital. The show ends without an answer if Toby will live or die.
When asked if Toby was dead or alive, Chris told EW, “Well, I’d say he’s definitely one or the other. You know what I mean?…I’m going to leave it at that. I start saying any more than that, I’m going to get in trouble. I know they’re listening to these calls. They’re listening to these calls right now. I know they’re listening.”
Well, just a few days ago, Chris tweeted a video from the Paramount lot where This Is Us is filmed, seemingly a clue that he could be filming for the show! However, as we know, This Is Us has characters who are dead (Milo Ventimiglia) as prominent characters. The show returns in January, so we’ll have to wait and see! See the tweet below…
