See us after class, Donald Trump.
When it comes to communicating with the people, the president has the tendency to speak in a series of nonsensical buzzwords that can take days to decode.
And while overall he’s in grave denial about his leadership skills, at least POTUS can admit he sucks when it comes to addressing his ideas to citizens.
Trump sat down with Fox & Friends in an interview that aired on Tuesday, and revealed there was much room for improvement in the communication department.
Grading himself across the board, the predatory politician said:
“In terms of messaging, I would give myself a ‘C’ or a ‘C-plus. My messaging isn’t good.”
Uh…. ya think!?
Of course, the rest of Trump’s self-graded report card was as you’d expect — the prez gave himself an “A” for his achievements since taking office, “because I’ve done great things, but I and my people … [haven’t] explained it well enough to the American public.”
Later in the interview, Drumpf addressed his decision to skip out on this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
While Trump made it clear he could DEFINITELY take a joke, he hinted that his contentious relationship with the press wouldn’t make for the most comfortable dinner, saying:
“I have great respect for the press. I have great respect for reporters and the whole profession. Now with all of that being said, I just thought it would be better if I didn’t do the dinner.”
But again, he can still TOTALLY take a joke! Just not fake jokes…?
