AnnaLynne McCord givers a smoldering stare on the cover of La Palme Magazine’s Winter 2016 issue styled by Derek Warburton.
Here’s what the 28-year-old 90210 alum told the magazine:
On her role as the face of The New Somaly Fund: Somaly always says it takes 5 minutes to save a girl but then what? They need a place to go, to facilitate their healing. For me, I feel like I’m just showing up, but for these girls that have never had anyone show up for them, it means everything.
On why she almost quit acting: I thought about just going back to New York, being a barista, going to college and finding out what I could do in this world to really make a difference. The producers from 90210 kept calling to offer me the job and it wasn’t until a friend of mine called me, that I realized that if I took the job it would allow me the platform and opportunity to really do something important outside of acting.
On being relevant: Hollywood is an industry where you’re hot one minute and cold the next. Staying relevant is a continual thing. Being able to ride those waves is what being a fearless artist is about. Luck is for the ill prepared.
