Jennifer Hudson has made a modification to her emergency order of protection against her former fiancé David Otunga for one day: Thanksgiving.
According to People, The Voice judge is allowing their eight-year-old son David Otunga Jr. to spend the holiday with his father. It’s said he will be with him from 3 p.m. on Thursday to 7 p.m. on Friday.
The former wrestler previously requested the singer’s order of protection be thrown out so he could have Thanksgiving with his son, but it was denied, so it looks like she did this for him instead.
Because of the protective order, David isn’t allowed any parenting time unless given written approval by JHud, and his next hearing to have it dropped isn’t until November 27.
The couple’s next custody hearing will then be on December 7.
