Just prior to the debut of Netflix’s Fuller House, John Stamos is feeding fans all the throwback cuteness they can handle.
In a video posted to the star’s Instagram on Sunday, a young Stamos and two tiny Olsen twins take in some serious snuggle time. Donning two hot pink leotards with big green bows and frolicking about a grassy lawn, the blondes play with the heartthrob’s hair and eventually find themselves wrapped into his embrace.
Dated August 14, 1989, the twins would have just turned three years old, while Stamos was almost 27. According to his caption, the vid was shot in Hawaii.
While Stamos’ Full House reboot is available to stream February 26, the Olsens will be MIA. In what the actor has claimed to be a “heartbreaking” decision, the 29-year-olds are no longer interested in acting:
“Ashley said, I have not been in front of a camera since I was 17 and I don’t feel comfortable acting,” Fuller House executive producer Bob Boyett explained. “Mary-Kate said, ‘It would have to be me because Ash doesn’t want to do it, but the timing is so bad for us.'”
All the more reason to cling on to the good old days.
