Talk about turning the tables!
On Wednesday, Zac Efron sat down with his We Are Your Friends director Max Joseph and co-star Emily Ratajkowski for an interview we’re sure they aren’t likely to forget anytime soon.
As the film’s plot surrounds the High School Musical alum’s character’s drive to make music, Sunrise‘s Hollywood reporter Steve Hargrave took it upon himself to serenade the A-lister with a self-produced track titled Ode To Zac. LOLz!
One could describe this interview as cringeworthy — though we find it kind of funny.
While Miz Ratajkowski seemed unimpressed with the tune, the Hollywood hottie was a good sport and embraced the outside the box interview.
At the end of the bit, Zac shook the journalist’s hand stated:
“If you produced that, you’re a better producer than I am.”
Aww! Though we think the Neighbors star’s being a bit modest, as he underwent intensive music training with DJ Alesso in preparation for his role in the film.
Way to SLAY, Zac.
Ch-ch-check the musical interview in its entirety (below)!
