Michael B. Jordan Surprises Newark High School for Dream It Real Initiative!

Michael B. Jordan is using his role as the new global face of Coach Men‘s for good!

The 31-year-old Black Panther actor made a surprise visit to Barringer High School in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey on Friday (January 11) in support of Dream It Real, Coach’s philanthropic initiative through the Coach Foundation aimed at supporting the next generation as they envision and create the future they know is possible.

“I am honored to be involved with Coach and their Dream It Real initiative,” Michael said in a statement. “Empowering young people is deeply important to me, and being able to work with the students as an honorary Dream Director at Barringer – in my hometown of Newark – was an experience that I will never forget.”

Michael met with and mentored students, co-hosted the school’s student-organized “Passion Show,” and signed a new motivational mural created by artist Toby Triumph in collaboration with Coach.
