Liam Payne is definitely living while he’s young: the former One Direction boy-bander is expecting his first child.

According to People, 23-year-old Payne and girlfriend Cheryl (full name Cheryl Cole), a former X Factor judge, are having a little one. While no official announcement has been made on behalf of the twosome, they reportedly stepped out in London on Tuesday night, Cheryl rocking a noticeable bump.

Cheryl, 33, was a part of early ’00s girl group Girls Aloud, which formed during ITV’s Popstars: The Rivals. They remained a group until 2013, and she joined singing competition The X Factor in 2011.

Cheryl and Payne first met on the ITV talent competition when Payne was only 14 years old. “I think you’re really cute,” Cheryl told him at the time. “I think you’ve got charisma and you give us that cheeky little wink.”

The two reunited in 2010, when X Factor produced the mega-band the world now knows as One Direction. According to the Daily Mail, Cheryl and Payne began dating in late 2015. Since then, Payne has shared several photos of the two, and seems to be open regarding strong-held feelings for his lady.

Somewhat ironically, Cheryl shared an announcement of the couple’s “new family member,” a Teacup Chihuahua, over the summer.

While Cheryl has been married twice previously, baby Payne will be her first child. Payne himself will be the second member of One Direction to become a father following the birth of Louis Tomlinson’s child with Briana Jungwirth in January.
