Mother’s Day is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, mostly in May but also in March or some other month. Some countries celebrate the International Women’s Day instead of Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is celebrated as a day to honor mothers and motherhood.

Many of us want to find a lovely gift for mother.

Love is the most important gift for mother, but I also found a beautiful gift idea for decorator mother, who loves interior and pink decoration. Luxe Faberge Collectible Eggs are beautiful interior.

This pink egg, photo above, is Katrina’s Imperial Enameled Egg. This gift for mother is originally fashioned by Carl Faberge, Imperial Jeweler for the Russian Czarina Maria. This collectible Imperial egg boasts the same intricate metalwork, handpainted enamel and hinged magnet closure as the originals.

You can find this pink egg, work of art Design Toscano on Gifts.com.

This beautiful gift for mother is one of my favorites.

I love books. One week ago Toothfairy wrote an interesting and funny post about books. I laughed when Toothfairy told, that pink bubblegum drama is not for her and Harry Potter is not her cup of tea. Harry Potter and pink bubblegum drama is not for me either, but I’m happy if my book cover is pink;)

Toothfairy asked: What is your book genre?

I have read almost anything, but my favorites are classic books in what ever genre. I love writers like Charles Dickens, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Hermann Hesse, Mikhail Bulgakov and so on.

The Master and Margarita (Мастер и Маргарита) is a famous novel by Mikhail Bulgakov (Михаил Булгаков), who was a Soviet Russian novelist. The genre of The Master and Margarita is satire, which is near fantasy. I usually love fantasy but hate it in books. I love pink stuff but I don’t like to read pink bubblegum drama. But quality pink drama or romance is totally another story. Those who love pink or write a pink blog or a fashion blog can love serious literature. Some people think that we don’t have brains:D

I mostly love to read realistic books. The Master and Margarita is even more than realism, much harder than realism but still sensitive and pink. The Master and Margarita is split into three different stories. There are events in Moscow, including the adventures of satanic visitors, events concerning the crucifixion of Yeshua Ha-Notsri or Jesus Christ, in first-century Yershalaim, and the love story of the Master and Margarita.

I have The Master and Margarita book, a Finnish translation on my bookshelf. I have read The Master and Margarita only in Finnish. The Finnish translation is called “Saatana saapuu Moskovaan” (Satan arrives to Moscow). This name is very descriptive. I hope that I some day could read Мастер и Маргарита in Russian.

The Master and Margarita is a different book each time it is opened. The Times of London has called The Master and Margarita one of the masterpieces of the 20th century. For me The Master and Margarita is an important book. I love serious humor.

What is your favorite book or genre?

Many people believe that the real Santa Claus or Father Christmas lives in Finland. The hometown of The Santa Claus is Rovaniemi, at the Arctic Circle, Lapland, Finland. Santa lives together with Mrs Santa in real winter wonderland Korvatunturi (tunturi is mountain or fjeld).

Who gets the most letters in the world? Santa Claus of course! Santa Claus (Joulupukki in Finnish) receives thousands of mail-letters, cards and parcels. Letter to Santa Claus is very important thing to children and some adults too. So far, the elves have found 184 countries from which Santa Claus has received a total of nearly eight million items in the past 20 years. The most enthusiastic writers are Japanese, British and Polish.

The real Santa Claus gets visitors from all over the world. Many visitors come to Lapland from Japan, The United Kingdom, Russia and Germany.

I could write a letter to Santa Claus, but I don’t need any Christmas gifts. Although Santa’s philosophy is very pink. I have a lot of important issues to discuss with him. Maybe I’ll write to him:)

Are you going to send a letter to Santa Claus? If you have some Christmas wishes to Santa, here is Santa’s address: Joulupukki, Korvatunturi 98800 Savukoski, Finland or joulupukki@korvatunturi.fi
If you want to have a letter from Santa, visit here.

I still believe in Santa. Do you believe in Santa?
