Disney’s Frozen is one of the most beloved animated movies of all time, but it couldn’t have reached that level without its stellar soundtrack.
Among the film’s most popular tracks are “Let It Go,” “For the First Time in Forever,” and of course, “Love Is an Open Door.” So, when Oregonian couple Roman Martinez and Andrew Foster heard it, they knew it was the perfect way to announce their upcoming nuptials.
Foster told local news station Fox 12 Oregon the duo had far from anticipated how much their special performance would take off:
“Anybody that knows us, they know that we don’t do things in a small way,” he said. “We just posted it to our Facebook wall and it just took on a life of its own from there…and certainly did not expect all this attention it’s garnering.”
The video has amassed more than 50,000 views since its March 19 posting — all thanks to Foster’s friends’ likes, shares, and support on Facebook.
Best of all, the couple waited a full 23 years for their right to wed, making the immensely positive reaction to their rendition of “Love Is an Open Door” all the more wonderful.
Congratulations to the happy couple! Anna would be proud.
