A real-life Forbidden Forest experience will be within your reach very, very soon.
If you follow Harry Potter news like a true fan, you’ll have heard of the #FollowtheSpiders account. It looks like this:
While many fans had some idea what the mysterious pop-up account was all about, it wasn’t until recently that Warner Bros. finally spilled the Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans during a Harry Potter Celebration event at Universal Orlando Resort.
The account has been teasing a brand new attraction this entire time: the Forbidden Forest. In retrospect, it totally makes sense. The forest was always crawling with the spiders. As of March 31, 2017, fans will be able to enter the dark, dark forest at the Studio Tour in London – The Making of Harry Potter attraction.
Best of all, the Forbidden Forest’s creepies and fantastic beasts will be there to greet you. Magical friends like Buckbeak the Hippogriff and Aragog the Acromantula are said to lurk in the forest for fans to meet. Hagrid will even be in attendance to guide you. It’s the full experience, and we are so there.
“Visitors will walk beneath the giant entwined roots on their journey and will even be able to control the weather using the same techniques created by filmmakers,” according to the announcement.
